What To Expect
What is the Three Oaks Law Estate Planning Process?
Initial Consultation
We schedule your complimentary initial consultation through our client experience coordinator. We can conduct virtual consultations, phone conferences, or in-person meetings for your convenience. We truly tailor to your needs by having the ability to do a facetime or zoom call or be as personal as a home visit.
Questionnaire
Three Oaks Law then sends you a consultation confirmation that contains a confidential questionnaire that gathers your information and prepares you for your meeting with our Client Services Coordinator or Attorney. This questionnaire is designed to help you begin thinking about some of the decisions that are necessary for a complete estate plan. We want to get to know you – your family dynamics, lifestyle, goals, and wishes. Then, we craft your estate plan to achieve peace of mind, security, and a smooth transition.
Fee Agreement
After our appointment, for our virtual and phone consultations, we have a secure online portal that allows you to electronically sign our fee agreement as well as a secure link for payment processing. For our in-person consultations, our dedicated and knowledgeable staff is there for all of your questions and needs when signing our fee agreement and what your next steps will be.
Draft Documents
Once our fee agreement has been completed, we begin to draft your documents with all the information provided during our conference. We then schedule a meeting to design and review your documents. For your convenience, we can do a virtual Zoom to review and design your documents or an in-person meeting.
Final Documents
As soon as we have finalized all the draft documents tailored to your wishes, we will schedule you to come in to sign and execute your final estate planning documents. During our final meeting, you will meet with our notary and two witnesses to execute your documents.
Once we have completed your estate plan, we are committed to serving your estate planning needs long after. We want to ensure that if life has changed that your estate plan reflects those life changes.
