Three Oaks COVID-19 Message
Despite the changes we have to make, we will continue to serve you so that you can protect yourself and your family during this time.
What we are doing to help as many individuals and families as we can:
- We are conducting video and telephone consultations;
- We are offering flexible options to get this done by submitting documents and information easily through a secure online platform;
- We are offering will, trust, advance healthcare directives and power of attorney documents to protect you and your family. We have put a process in place to rush documents on an as needed basis.
Please Check out Youtube Channel and Social Media for more resources.
As part of the Three Oaks family, we appreciate the trust you have placed in us, whether by joining in on a seminar or taking the steps complete your estate plan. Knowledge always empowers you to make the right choices for yourself and those you love.
While the situation with COVID-19 evolves, I want to personally update you on the steps we are taking to ensure we can continue to meet your needs in a secure and reliable manner.
Our #1 concern has always been the safety and well-being of our team, our partners, and our clients. At this time, our physical office is open; however, we have taken extensive steps to ensure all team members can work from home without disruption to normal business operations. It is our intention to provide you peace and comfort in the midst of chaos.
That being said, we are scheduling consultations and document review meetings via phone and online technology for those who prefer the comfort of their home. Additionally, we have a team of mobile notaries and witnesses that will go to your home to sign documents if necessary. If you prefer to come to our office and do not have transportation, we are providing complimentary Lyft and Uber services to and from our offices. Please be assured that we are continuously sanitizing the office, pens, door handles, etc. throughout the day to ensure the health and safety of our team and clients.
If you have completed an estate plan, please ensure that a copy of your health care advance directives have been given to your physicians, any hospital that you frequent, and the people you named to make decisions or receive information on your behalf. These health care advance directives are the Living Will, Designation of Health Care Surrogate, and Authorization for Release of Protected Health Information. Please also ensure that a copy of your Durable Power of Attorney has been given to your banks for their files as well as your investment advisors and appointed agent.
As a courtesy to each of our clients, we will be uploading your signed documents to a secure online portal. This will give you immediate access to your documents for download and print anywhere in the world. You will be receiving an email in the next week with login instructions for the online portal.
It is my opinion that health care advance directives and the Durable Power of Attorney continue to be the most important documents in one’s estate plan. These documents preserve your health care choices during your lifetime and effectuate continuity of financial matters. As we come together as a community and share information with friends, family and neighbors – we ask you to please share the importance of these documents and our phone number 904-397-4444. A complete estate plan does not have to be executed at this time. We are working very quickly to turn around health care and financial directives within 24 hours for anyone in need.
If you have any questions or if there’s anything we can do to help, don’t hesitate to reach out. Our team is fully operational and here to support you however we can. I will personally keep you updated on our team’s status. I know we will get through this together.
To your health,
Sabrina Bateh Kuruvilla
